Gigaset Siemens Phone

As a challenge this original design, which was modeled in traditional way, based on circled curves and straight lines was remodeled under todays class A conditions.
It was entirely modeled in Soldthinking Evolve using it’s powerful NURBS. The result is a fantastic smooth surface without buckles. The challenge was great because of the original design of the 90’ies, which wasn’t designed to be organic as it now. The biggest difficulty was to maintain it’s appearance by changing all surfaces to get buckle free transitions.
We used the same techniques which would be used in an automotive designing process.
